Summary
CVE-2024-4434 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the LearnPress plugin for WordPress, versions up to 4.2.6.5. This issue involves insufficient escaping of the 'term_id' parameter, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject time-based SQL queries. By doing so, they can manipulate existing SQL queries and extract sensitive data from the affected database without proper authentication. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to WordPress sites using the LearnPress plugin and requires prompt patching and updating to mitigate the threat.
