Summary
CVE-2024-4250 is a critical vulnerability affecting the Tenda i21 1.0.0.14(4656) firmware. The function formwrlSSIDset in the /goform/wifiSSIDset file is vulnerable to stack-based buffer overflow due to improper handling of the argument ssidIndex. This issue can be exploited remotely, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code. The exploit for this vulnerability has been disclosed publicly and the vendor, Tenda, has not responded to notifications about the disclosure. The vulnerability has been assigned the identifier VDB-262141.
