Summary
CVE-2024-3879 is a critical vulnerability affecting the Tenda W30E 1.0.1.25(633) firmware. The issue lies in the function formSetCfm of the /goform/setcfm file, where manipulation of the argument funcpara1 leads to a stack-based buffer overflow. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, and the exploit has already been disclosed to the public. The identifier VDB-260913 has been assigned to this vulnerability, and unfortunately, the vendor did not respond to early disclosures regarding this issue.
