Summary
CVE-2024-3731 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Customer Reviews plugin for WooCommerce on WordPress. Versions up to and including 5.47.0 are impacted by this issue. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the 's' parameter, enabling unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts. Successful exploitation occurs when users are tricked into performing an action, such as clicking on a malicious link, leading to the execution of these scripts.
