Summary
CVE-2024-3672 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the BA Book Everything plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes, specifically 'classes', within the plugin's 'all-items' shortcode. This vulnerability enables authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk.
