Summary
CVE-2024-3550 is a vulnerability in the WP Shortcodes Plugin — Shortcodes Ultimate plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 7.1.2. It is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability caused by insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or above can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The risk score for this vulnerability is 25.
