Summary
CVE-2024-3491 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP plugin for WordPress. The issue exists in the plugin's "How To" and "FAQ" Blocks and allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. All versions up to and including 1.29 are vulnerable.
