Summary
CVE-2024-34073 is a vulnerability affecting the Amazon SageMaker library, sagemaker-python-sdk. In this issue, the "capture_dependencies" function in the "sagemaker.serve.save_retrieve.version_1_0_0.save.utils" module includes a Command Injection flaw. This vulnerability can be exploited if an inappropriate command is passed as the "requirements_path" parameter, potentially resulting in remote code execution, denial of service, and compromised confidentiality and integrity. The vulnerability has been remedied in version 2.214.3. It is strongly recommended that users upgrade to the latest version. Those unable to do so should not modify the "requirements_path" parameter of the "capture_dependencies" function and instead rely on the default value.
