Summary

CVE-2024-34066, also known as Pterodactyl wings, is a vulnerability that affects the server control plane for Pterodactyl Panel. If the Wings token is leaked, an attacker can gain arbitrary file write and read access on the associated node. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 1.11.12 of Pterodactyl Panel, and users are advised to upgrade to this version. As a workaround, users who are unable to upgrade can enable the `ignore_panel_config_updates` option. The potential danger of this vulnerability lies in the high risk it poses to the integrity and confidentiality of an organization's data, with a severity rating of HIGH.
