Summary

CVE-2024-32875 is a vulnerability in the Hugo static site generator. It affects versions 0.123.0 and prior to 0.125.3. The issue arises when title arguments in Markdown for links and images are not escaped in internal render hooks. Users who have these hooks enabled and do not trust their Markdown content files are impacted. The vulnerability has been patched in version 0.125.3, and as a workaround, users can replace the templates with user-defined templates or disable the internal templates.
