Summary
CVE-2024-32059 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Simcenter Femap versions below V2406. This issue arises due to an out-of-bounds read problem in the software's handling of IGS files. A maliciously crafted IGS file can cause the application to read past the allocated memory boundary, potentially resulting in code execution by the attacker within the context of the current process.
