Summary
CVE-2024-32055 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting all versions of Simcenter Femap below V2406. The issue stems from an out-of-bounds read issue in the applications' IGS file parsing process. Maliciously crafted IGS files can cause the software to read data beyond the allocated memory structure, potentially leading to code execution in the context of the current process, posing a significant security risk.
