Summary

CVE-2024-31473 is a command injection vulnerability that affects the deauthentication service in Aruba's Access Point management protocol (PAPI). It allows unauthenticated remote code execution by sending specially crafted packets to the PAPI UDP port (8211). This vulnerability can be exploited to execute arbitrary code as a privileged user on the underlying operating system. The affected products include v7XvlV, v7XvlX, v7XvlW, and v7X51y.
