Summary
CVE-2024-31469 is a critical vulnerability affecting the Central Communications service in Aruba's Access Point management protocol (PAPI). The vulnerability allows for unauthenticated remote code execution through buffer overflow attacks. By sending specifically crafted packets to the PAPI UDP port (8211), an attacker can execute arbitrary code with privileged user access on the underlying operating system.
