Summary
CVE-2024-31468 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the Central Communications service. Maliciously crafted packets sent to the PAPI (Aruba's Access Point management protocol) UDP port (8211) can exploit these vulnerabilities, leading to unauthenticated remote code execution. The privileged access granted to the underlying operating system upon successful exploitation makes this an significant threat, potentially allowing attackers to take control of affected systems.
