Summary
CVE-2024-31467 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the CLI service of certain Aruba access points. The issue lies within the PAPI (Aruba's Access Point management protocol) UDP port (8211). Maliciously crafted packets can be sent to trigger the buffer overflow, granting unauthenticated attackers the ability to execute arbitrary code on the underlying operating system with privileged user access.
