Summary

CVE-2024-31466 is a buffer overflow vulnerability in the CLI service of Aruba's Access Point management protocol (PAPI) UDP port (8211). This vulnerability allows for unauthenticated remote code execution by sending specially crafted packets. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability enables an attacker to execute arbitrary code as a privileged user on the underlying operating system.
