Summary
CVE-2024-31441 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting DataEase, an open source data visualization analysis tool. The vulnerability allows for arbitrary file reading by exploiting certain malicious parameters in the connection parameters for the ClickHouse data source. This vulnerability has been fixed in version 1.18.19 of DataEase. It poses a potential danger to organizations as it can lead to unauthorized access and disclosure of sensitive information.
