Summary

CVE-2024-3134 is a vulnerability affecting the Master Addons – Free Widgets, Hover Effects, Toggle, Conditions, Animations for Elementor plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts via the title_html_tag attribute. The vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 2.0.6.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The potential danger of this vulnerability is that it enables the execution of arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page. To remediate this issue, users should update their plugin to a version beyond 2.0.6.0 as soon as possible to mitigate the risk of exploitation by attackers.
