Summary

CVE-2024-3115 is a vulnerability affecting GitLab Enterprise Edition (EE). Versions 16.0 to 16.11.4, 17.0 to 17.0.2, and 17.1 to 17.1.0 are all impacted. This issue enables unauthorized access to issues and epics within GitLab, bypassing the need for a Single Sign-On (SSO) session through Duo Chat. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information. Users are strongly advised to upgrade their GitLab EE instances to the patched versions.
