Summary
CVE-2024-31106 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Yoo Slider, a popular image slider plugin for Joomla and WordPress. The issue, which allows Reflected XSS, stems from improper neutralization of user input during web page generation. This weakness can be exploited by attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by other users, potentially stealing sensitive information or taking control of user sessions.
