Summary

The CVE-2024-3074 vulnerability affects the Elementor ImageBox plugin for WordPress in all versions up to and including 1.2.8. It is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. This can lead to the execution of these scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes, posing a potential risk to organizations using the affected plugin.
