Summary
CVE-2024-3063 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WPB Elementor Addons plugin for WordPress. In all versions up to and including 1.0.9, user-supplied tag attributes in widgets are not sufficiently sanitized or escaped, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, potentially leading to unintended actions, data theft, or other malicious activities.
