Summary
CVE-2024-29894 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions of Cacti prior to 1.2.27. Although a fix for CVE-2023-50250 was implemented using purify.js in `lib/functions.php`, the `raise_message_javascript` function still generates code from unescaped PHP variables `$title` and `$header`. If these variables contain single quotes, an attacker can inject JavaScript code and impersonate other users, potentially leading to unauthorized changes to settings. The release of version 1.2.27 addresses this issue.
