Summary
CVE-2024-29815 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting WP Change Email Sender, a WordPress plugin. The flaw, which allows Stored XSS, lies in the plugin's handling of user input during web page generation. An attacker can exploit this weakness to inject malicious scripts into a targeted website, potentially stealing user data or taking control of user sessions. The vulnerability was identified in versions of WP Change Email Sender prior to 1.3.0. Users are advised to update their plugins to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
