Summary

CVE-2024-29814 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the CurrencyRate.Today Exchange Rates Widget. The flaw, which is a result of improper input neutralization during web page generation, allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts into the widget. Affected versions of the Exchange Rates Widget range from n/a to 1.4.0. Successful exploitation could lead to unintended execution of malicious code in a user's browser. Users are advised to update to the latest version of the widget to mitigate the risk of this vulnerability.
