Summary

CVE-2024-2581: A critical buffer overflow vulnerability (VDB-258150) has been identified in the Tenda FH1202 1.2.0.14(408) firmware. The affected function, form_fast_setting_wifi_set in the /goform/fast_setting_wifi_set file, becomes vulnerable when the ssid argument is manipulated. This issue can be exploited remotely, leading to stack-based buffer overflow. The vulnerability details have been disclosed publicly, increasing the risk of attacks. Despite early notification, the vendor has not responded to address this issue.
