Summary

CVE-2024-2925 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Beaver Builder WordPress Page Builder plugin. Versions up to and including 2.8.0.5 are impacted. The vulnerability lies in the Button Widget, which fails to properly sanitize and escape user-supplied attributes. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious scripts that execute when users visit injected pages.
