Summary

CVE-2024-28852 is a vulnerability found in Ampache, a web-based audio/video streaming application and file manager. This vulnerability is classified as a reflective cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability, affecting all forms in Ampache that use the "rule" variable. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker can inject malicious code into the song or podcast query using the "$rule" variable. The issue has been addressed and fixed in version 6.3.1 of Ampache.
