Summary
CVE-2024-28246 is a vulnerability that affects the KaTeX JavaScript library for TeX math rendering on the web. The vulnerability occurs when code using the library's `trust` option can be tricked by URLs with uppercase characters in the protocol. This can allow malicious input to generate `javascript:` links in the output, even if the `trust` function attempts to block this protocol.
