Summary
CVE-2024-28200 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting the N-central server. this issue allows an unauthorized user to bypass the authentication process of the user interface, granting them unauthorized access to the system. This vulnerability is present in all N-central deployments prior to version 2024.2. The flaw was uncovered during an internal review of N-central's source code, and according to N-able, no known exploitation of this vulnerability has been reported in the wild. This authentication bypass poses a significant security risk, and it is recommended that N-central users upgrade to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this threat.
