Summary
CVE-2024-2817 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Tenda AC15 router running version 15.03.05.18. The issue lies within the function fromSysToolRestoreSet in the /goform/SysToolRestoreSet file. This vulnerability results in a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) that can be exploited remotely. An attacker can manipulate the vulnerability to execute malicious actions under the privileges of the affected user. The exploit has been made public, increasing the risk of potential attacks. The identifier for this vulnerability is VDB-257672, and despite early notification to the vendor, they have yet to respond or provide a patch.
