Summary
CVE-2024-28117 is a vulnerability affecting Grav, an open-source content management system. The vulnerability exists in versions prior to 1.7.45 and allows attackers to bypass validation and execute arbitrary commands through twig functions like twig_array_map. This can be exploited by enabling Twig processing of static pages in the front matter, which runs unsandboxed. Upgrading to version 1.7.45 can mitigate this issue. The vulnerability poses a high risk to organizations as it could lead to arbitrary code execution and privilege elevation on affected instances.
