Summary

CVE-2024-2781 is a vulnerability that affects the Elementor Website Builder Pro plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages using the video_html_tag attribute. The vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 3.20.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The potential danger posed by this vulnerability is that it allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update their plugin to a version that includes the necessary security patches.
