Summary

CVE-2024-27093 is a vulnerability affecting Minder, a Software Supply Chain Security Platform. In versions prior to 0.20240226.1425+ref.53868a8, an attacker can register a repository with an invalid or differing upstream ID, causing Minder to report the repository as registered but fail to remediate any conflicting changes. This issue arises when the attacker has admin access to the named repo or when the stored provider token lacks repo access. Reconciliation actions do not execute against these repositories, potentially leading to denial-of-service effects. This vulnerability can be exploited to prevent effective policy enforcement and hinder the normal functioning of the platform.
