CVE-2024-27087 is a vulnerability affecting Kirby, a content management system. The vulnerability occurs in the new link field introduced in Kirby 4, which allows for different types of links to be entered and validated. The "Custom" link type, meant for advanced use cases, allows the javascript: URL scheme, potentially enabling attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript code when a user clicks on a link generated from the link field contents.
