Summary
CVE-2024-27087 is a vulnerability affecting the Kirby content management system. In its latest version, Kirby 4, a new "Custom" link type was introduced, which allows the use of javascript: URLs for advanced use cases. This flexibility, however, can be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript code when a user clicks on a manipulated link generated from the link field. The vulnerability has been addressed in the 4.1.1 patch.
