Summary
CVE-2024-26270 is a vulnerability affecting the Account Settings page in Liferay Portal 7.4.3.76 to 7.4.3.99 and Liferay DXP 2023.Q3 before patch 5, as well as 7.4 updates 76 to 92. This issue exposes users' hashed passwords by embedding them in the page's HTML source. Man-in-the-middle attackers can exploit this vulnerability to intercept and steal user passwords during transmission.
