Summary
CVE-2024-26177 is a newly disclosed Windows Kernel vulnerability. This issue permits an attacker to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information through a specially crafted application. By manipulating the system calls, the attacker can successfully induce the kernel to disclose data it shouldn't. This information disclosure can potentially lead to further exploitation, compromising the system's security. Microsoft is currently working on a patch to address this vulnerability. Users are strongly encouraged to apply the update once it becomes available to mitigate the risk.
