Summary

CVE-2024-26135 is a cross-site WebSocket hijacking (CSWSH) vulnerability found in versions prior to 1.1.21 of MeshCentral, a computer management website. This vulnerability occurs within the control.ashx endpoint, which is used for administrative actions on the server. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by tricking a user into clicking on a malicious link, allowing them to establish a cross-site WebSocket connection and gain control over the victim's session within MeshCentral. The issue has been patched in version 1.1.21 of the software. This vulnerability poses a high risk to organizations as it could lead to unauthorized access and compromise of sensitive data stored on the affected server.
