Summary
CVE-2024-26042 is a DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that puts Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and older at risk. An attacker can exploit this issue by injecting malicious scripts into vulnerable web pages. These scripts may be executed in a victim's browser, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution in the context of the victim's browser. This vulnerability poses a significant threat, as it allows attackers to gain unauthorized control over a user's browser.
