Summary

CVE-2024-2596 is a vulnerability in AMSS++ version 4.31, which allows for a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack through /amssplus/modules/mail/main/select_send.php. This vulnerability affects multiple parameters and could be exploited by a remote attacker to send a specially crafted URL to an authenticated user and steal their session cookie credentials.
