Summary
CVE-2024-2594 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting AMSS++ version 4.31. The issue lies in the application's insufficient encoding of user-controlled input. An attacker can exploit this flaw by crafting a malicious URL and sending it to an authenticated user. Upon visiting the URL, the user's session cookie credentials could be stolen, enabling the attacker to gain unauthorized access to the affected system.
