Summary
CVE-2024-25931 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability that affects the Heureka software from versions n/a through 1.0.8. A successful exploit of this vulnerability allows an attacker to force an authenticated user to perform unintended actions on the targeted web application. This can lead to unauthorized data changes or unauthorized access to functionality. The attacker needs to trick the user into clicking a malicious link or visiting a malicious website, which then sends a forged request to the web application on behalf of the user. This can result in security implications and potential data breaches. Users are advised to update their Heureka software to the latest version that includes a patch for this vulnerability.
