Summary

CVE-2024-25627 is a vulnerability affecting Alf.io, an open-source event attendance management system. Admin users on the Alf.io application can upload HTML files, which can contain JavaScript payloads. An attacker gaining administrative access could exploit this to plant a cross-site scripting (XSS) payload, potentially leading to persistent access. The issue has been resolved in version 2.0-M4-2402. It is strongly recommended that users upgrade as soon as possible. Currently, there are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
