Summary

CVE-2024-25114 is a vulnerability affecting Collabora Online, a collaborative online office suite based on LibreOffice technology. In certain versions of Collabora Online, the use of the CELL() function in the spreadsheet component allows an attacker to obtain a path that includes a unique directory "jailID" name, which should not be exposed to clients for security reasons. While the impact of this vulnerability on its own is low, it can pose a higher risk when combined with another vulnerability. To remediate this issue, users are advised to upgrade to Collabora Online 23.05.9, Collabora Online 22.05.22, Collabora Online 21.11.10, or newer versions. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability at present.
