Summary
CVE-2024-25111 is a vulnerability found in Squid, a web proxy cache, affecting versions 3.5.27 and prior to version 6.8. The vulnerability allows for a Denial of Service (DoS) attack through an uncontrolled recursion bug in the HTTP Chunked decoder. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted, chunked, encoded HTTP message. The issue has been addressed in Squid version 6.8, and patches are available for stable releases in Squid's patch archives.
