Summary

CVE-2024-24907 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting all versions of Dell Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) Policy Manager. This issue lies in the Filters page, enabling an adjacent network high privileged attacker to inject malicious HTML or JavaScript codes into a trusted application data store. When a user accesses the data store via their web browser, the malicious code gets executed, potentially leading to information disclosure, session theft, or client-side request forgery. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow attackers to gain unauthorized access to sensitive data or take control of user sessions.
