CVE-2024-24826 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability found in Exiv2 version v0.28.1, a command-line utility and C++ library for manipulating image file metadata. This vulnerability affects Exiv2 versions before v0.28. The issue occurs when Exiv2 is used to read the metadata of a manipulated video file, resulting in a potential crash.
