Summary
CVE-2024-24760 is a newly discovered vulnerability in mailcow, a dockerized email package. Affecting versions prior to 2024-01c, this issue allows attackers on the same subnet to access exposed Docker container ports, despite being bound to 127.0.0.1. The vulnerability primarily impacts ports 3306, 6379, 8983, and 12345. To mitigate this risk, mailcow developers have implemented additional iptables/nftables rules to drop packets for containers on these ports when the input and output interfaces do not match `br-mailcow`.
