CVE-2024-2460 is a vulnerability affecting the GamiPress - Button plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages using the plugin's 'gamipress_button' shortcode. The vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 1.0.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. The potential danger is that whenever a user accesses an injected page, the injected web scripts will execute. To remediate the vulnerability, users should update to a version of the plugin that includes a fix for this issue.
